Such an amazing day with so many victories! One that isn’t on here but is also notable is the demonstration in from of the ICE building at 630 Sansome, which was one of the largest we’ve seen in a while. It was also one of the most diverse in terms of groups standing in solidarity with immigrants and against our broken immigration system. Labors, community groups, activist, occupiers, faith leaders, so many comrades. Thank you everyone for kicking 1% butt and for expanding our targets beyond just banks to all institutions that have been exploiting and negatively effecting our communities.

Soooooooooo,
How is it that smashing a Bentley Dealership is a violation of the no property destruction agreement but breaking locks on a building, fighting the police with stolen property from the building, breaking/decorating different parts of the building was not a violation?
For real, smashing windows of a fucking Bentley dealership is not that big of a deal.

Great job organizing this event. The hub and spoke model that brought many diverse organizations to this event was very inspirational. Let’s look to this model for future occupations!

Mahalo for organizing this! I appreciated the planning, schedule, maps, clear goals, organized groups, etc. Such great people showed up in the rain to show their support. There’s much worse weather to be protesting in around the country. Happy to see everyone out!!!

Fair enough. I even agree. But I’m not criticizing anyone for focusing on their most important issues, and in most cases they are my issues too. I’m merely pointing out the centrality of this issue, and issue which apparently most liberals don’t even acknowledge exists. Just try to get ANSWER to allow you to speak about 9/11. You can’t, because not only is it the most central issue; it is also the most censored. Even by the anti-war movement.

There are so many “until we” conditions that it’s irresponsible to criticize issue or action X because it takes attention away from issue Y when there are so many more powerful forces opposing both X and Y together. Focus your attention on the issue closest to your heart, but don’t lash out at others focusing on THEIR issue closest to THEIR heart. There are many of us, enough to solve all the problems, if we let each other.
