January 20, 2012, will be an important day of MASS NONVIOLENT DIRECT ACTION. Collectively, the actions will stop business as usual in the San Francisco Financial District and the Federal Courts that protect corporate interests. Below is a list of actions being announced by these Organizations and Affinity Groups.

We urge representatives of organizations and affinity groups to enter planned actions on the Add/Edit an Action and/or Affinity Group Listing form. We also encourage spokespersons from all participating organizations and affinity groups to check the Calendar and come to Occupy SF Action Council meetings to coordinate with other groups leading up to January 20, 2012.

Occupy SF suggests some targets for planning actions on this Action Map. You can suggest additional targets.

Additional actions will be announced on January 20, 2012. If you’d like nonviolent civil disobedience training and suggestions on how to plug in to the day’s actions, come to Bradley Manning (Justin Herman) Plaza at the end of Market St. Downtown San Francisco anytime 6:00am or later.

  1. Thank you and congratulations for your efforts today in confronting Goliath. I’m 73 years old and I just don’t have the stamina to get out and join you, but I’m so glad to see young people confronting the grossly corrupt powers that be. As you gain power you will see the powerful corporate media doing all they can – and they are good at it – to make you look like the enemy.

    I went through so much of this in the 60’s and I’m so glad that I did. There is so much you have to balance out. Keep your balance and get your message to that 99%.
